One of my favourite arrangements with a synth guitar sax/horn hook, some hot guitar and an alternative blues progression, portraying a pressure-cooker office environment.

The intro depicts an eerie little lane which then blossoms into bittersweet melodies, lyrics and arrangements on this touching ballad.

A cosmic request for time and opportunity, featuring two vocal verses and lots of improvisational lead guitar work, employing polyrhythmic flourishes towards the end.

Stirring symphonic rock instrumental featuring some sweetly layered strat leads, horn swells and timpanis etc. depicting Dumas' wrongfully imprisoned Count.

Dark verses transition to the feel-good country-rock chorus and lyrics, plus a nice guitar solo. Acceptance and forgiveness in the face of life's adversities.

A folk fairy tale recorded in 4 tracks with acoustic guitar, flute, strings and vocals.

According to Sir Paul there's apparently never enough silly love songs in pop music so here's another one, although it's not particularly silly...

Slow, pretty, mostly instrumental tune featuring the accordion, for the romantic city to where I can trace my pre-WWI ancestors 4 generations ago. Never did get a moonlight picture of it.
